Fat is your Friend: It Makes Great Muscle Gains

If you truly want to get big, fat is your friend. Eat it up! The best kinds of fats for growth are animal fats. This may seem unbelievable but think about the energy that is in fat. There’s more energy in fat than protein and twice as much as in carbs. Dispel the myth that eating fat makes you fat, it’s false logic. Fat’s not a bad thing and even bad saturated fat is not that bad at all – you need it to grow big. In nurture, babies given high diets in fats grow taller than average.

Dr Mauro Di Pasquale is the father of this concept in his book the Anabolic Diet

His new edition of this book is The metabolic Diet.

Hydrate for a great workout and to Gain an Amazing Muscle Pump

It's well know to hydrate during a workout. How can you maximize this to your advantage?
Have a bath before you workout: this will hydrate you a lot and give you the edge over your competitors in the gym - you'll feel stronger. You can stretch the legs in the bath and they'll suck up more water making you more hydrated. Maximum time in the bath is when you feel water inside your mouth, as if you've just drank water, but in fact this water is coming from your body re-hydrating - now you know it's time to hit the gym.

At the gym always have the water bottle near to hand. I aim for an hours hard workout to drink ½ to 1 litre every 15 minutes.

After workout, stretch and have a shower - you're replacing the water that you've lost. Giving that muscle is a huge percentage water, by not having water available, you're not making muscle but destroying it.
